Varsity Head Coach Cynthia Zea is in her 13th year teaching in Plano. This will be her tenth year as head coach of the Plano Wildcat Softball team. Previously she was a JV volleyball coach at Plano and volleyball/basketball coach at Schimelpfenig Middle School. Coach Zea was a scholarship softball player for the University of Texas at Arlington. She received All State and All Region honors as a second baseman. Coach Zea was also awarded "Best Defensive Player" and the "Most Dedicated Award" while at UTA. While attending UTA she met and married her husband of 29 years Duane and they have two amazing kids, Ryan, 26 a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and Taylor, 24 a graduate of the University of Southern California. Coach Zea graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science Degree and is now a Physical Education teacher at Plano Senior High School. |

JV Coach Debbie "Hutch Dog" Hutchison is in her seventh year as the JV Softball and Varsity Assistant Softball Coach. Coach Hutchison also coaches the 10th grade volleyball team at Vines High School. She previously coached the Vines High School Softball team in 2005. Coach Hutchison played volleyball for Lincoln College in Illinois and graduated from the University of North Texas. Before arriving in Plano in 1999 she coached volleyball, basketball, track and was the first softball coach for Wylie High School. Coach Hutchison has 2 Pomeranians, Dusty and Diva.

Varsity Assistant Coach Chad Faith is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Wildcats. Previous to coming to Plano Coach Faith was the Vines Baseball Coach for 3 years where he taught Algebra and Special Education. Before joining Vines he was the varsity assistant softball coach in Lovington, New Mexico. He received his Bachelor's in Mathematics and Education from the University of the Southwest and a Masters Degree in Education from Eastern New Mexico University. Currently Coach Faith teaches Earth and Space Science at Plano Senior High. Coach Faith and his wife Amanda have four children: Kevin, Collin, Lauren, and Timothy.

JV Coach Molly Pipak - is in her first official year as a Plano Softball Assistant Coach. She volunteered for the Wildcats last year and helped Plano through their historical playoff run to State! Coach Pipak teaches PE and PE Foundations at Clark High School. Coach Pipak has played softball since she was 10 and has traveled all over the country to play. She was a four year letterman and 1st team All District short stop and all state short stop. She was awarded a full scholarship with Oklahoma Christian University, but graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a Bachelor of Science. Her husband, Justin, is a teacher and coach for Lewisville ISD. They live in Plano with their two dogs, Daisy and Gracie.

Official Stat Man - Daniel Walls
Daniel is in his 4th year with the Wildcats and will be taking charge of keeping our stats at the Plano Softball games on his iPad. We are very glad to add Daniel to our staff and look forward to working with Daniel this season. Welcome Daniel!
